Project type:
Branding, Print
Grace Athens began a new ministry in the fall of 2018, and I had the honor of branding it.
Form is a ministry where you learn and live out the way of Jesus. Stemming from the word “formation,” we wanted to know what it would look like to be transformed into whole disciples of Christ.
The logotype comes from the idea that we are all in formation, not quite complete or whole, but in process. We know what we could look like one day, but the process for right now is getting there.
When approaching the logo mark, I was inspired by the potter and the clay and how hands are used to physically mold and sculpt in different crafts.
From the logo mark, I was able to create a set of icons that would be used in the weekly handouts to differentiate between the different sections of information– leader preparation, practice of the week, content, leadership notes for the group and group time.
FORM BOOK
In addition to the brand identity, I created a system for weekly content handouts, one set for leaders and one set for students that I updated with new information weekly.
