In a course Type and Image at the University of Georgia, we were assigned to create magazine spreads around the theme of the future. Because of my interest in fashion, I decided to research the future of fashion. Fall 2015, Chanel created a collection of clothing that was 3D printed, and I used this to inspire my spreads.
These patterns and embellishments inspired the bleeding text and lines that weave through the pages.
I looked closely at the clothing that was 3D printed and woven together with threads and embellishments and loved the different textures and patterns that it created.
